Newfound Wines

January

Industry veterans Matt and Audra Nauman founded Newfound Wines in 2016, and as the sole “employees” of their brand, they champion a nature-first approach to farming.  In addition to their Sierra Foothills estate vineyard, the seven vineyards they work serve as a living testament to their ethos of cultivating land in a way that enriches both the earth and the wines they produce.

Newfound Wines’ focus on understanding and listening to the land allows them to craft wines that express the unique characteristics of each special site. One such example is their “Gravels” blend. Described as a “village-level blend,” this wine is created using grapes from multiple vineyards, each contributing a layer of complexity. They also offer single-vineyard wines like their Grenache which is grown on alluvial soil for a more concentrated flavor profile. This combination of site-specific knowledge and natural elements defines Newfound Wines’ approach to crafting bottles that are made in harmony with their environment.

Newfound Wines will be featured in The Cellar Door this January for $55 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included). Click here to book your experience today.
